Oil On Canvas, “untitled”, Bruna Gasparini, 1993

Bruna Gasparini was an outstanding self-taught painter. She moved to Venice in 1937, where she cultivated her passion for painting, becoming actively involved in the cultural fabric of the city. Her artistic career is characterised by an investigation into the themes of space, light, sign and colour. In fact, his works show a clear affinity with the “Spatialism” movement.
The painting in question is an abstract work that stands out for its chromatic delicacy and spatial depth. Cool colours predominate, mainly his blue tones. Gasparini has created a material work where the colour is applied in layers, with denser areas and other more transparent, almost veiled areas.

It is an oil on canvas measuring 45x55 cm and bears on the back the inscription - “Senza Titolo” oil on canvas, Venice 1933, the signature and the reference to the exhibition at the Galleria del Cavallino in 1993.
The state of conservation is excellent.
