Vintage yellow gold tassel brooch with calibrated rubies Fourragerebrooch in 18k (750°/°°) yellow gold, adorned with a central band set with calibrated rubies. The tassels are made of braided mesh chains, topped with a gadrooned ring attachment system. Presented in its original case signed "A. Trichaud, Marseille". French work circa 1950. Presence of the owl hallmark for 18 carat gold. Fourragere brooches were very popular in the post-war period, taking up the aesthetic codes of military decorations, this is a typically French jewel of this period, where military and patriotic motifs were very popular in jewelry.
