Mantel clock. Gilt bronze. French school, 19th century.
Requires restoration.
Table clock with a gilt bronze case and a white dial with Roman numerals for the hours. It features a female figure on the right, a tripod on the left with a large flower, and a relief decoration on the front, with a distinctly classical influence, reminiscent of Empire style works. The Parisian-type movement, with chiming, is housed in a structure protected by a small glass door at the back of the clock.
