A central beige and blue medallion rich in patterns (bouquets of flowers, cypresses) stands out against a deep red background. On either side, two polychrome columns, surmounted by horse heads, refer to the ancient sculptures and bas-reliefs of Persepolis. A 'herati' (flower) border frames the field of the rug.
