"18th Century Walnut Chest Of Drawers From Nantes"
18th century walnut writing desk bearing the stamp of the Jurande des Maîtres, cabinetmakers of Nantes from 1722. It is made up of two bodies, the upper part opening with two glass doors, all carved with motifs of heart-ray, guivres, acanthus, shell, interior rechampé oxblood. The lower part opens with a fully carved flap with coat of arms, sculpture of the queen, it conceals drawers, compartments, a door and a secret bottom.
