Solid chestnut pantry drainer, consisting of a gendarme hat door with a perforated and tinned iron sheet bearing the inscription "Jean TURMEL et A MOULINET" with heart, stars, chalice. Central part intended to receive cutlery, lower part with shelves to drain dishes with cutlery holder. Originally this piece of furniture was hung on the wall and used to protect and preserve food and offered on the occasion of marriage. Very widespread object in Brittany in peasant interiors.
