DESCRIPTION / Large Regency-style cartel clock, Boulle-style marquetry with brass inlays on a brown tortoiseshell background: very fine quality of carving. Gilt bronze ornaments with a cassolette on the damping. Opens from the front and back, interior also inlaid. Paris movement which works, strikes the hours and half-hours, bronze sunburst pendulum + key available. Has 3 windows, 2 on the sides and one on the front door. Very fine straight model.
