Monoxyl calendering board in oak wood, with rich carved decoration of a succession of very ornate rosettes, plants and a border imitating rope, the lower end flanked by three dovetails, the top decorated with an interlacing including a hanging hole, under which one can read "anno 1776" and the monogram BD. North Frisia (Germany), 18th century. Dimensions: length 106 cm - width 14.5 cm. Excellent condition.
