Provence
Indian camisole with a chimney sweep background printed on a wooden board with a sowing of flowers called Bonnes Herbes dating from the end of the 18th century. High-waisted cut and long stovepipe sleeves ending in mittens. Bustier with an oval neckline tightened by ties on the chest. Back with a tilted line and V-shaped cut highlighted with a tiny pet-en-l'air (caracaca in Provençal). White cotton lining for the sleeves and gray plush terry cloth forming an inner corset to pin. No flaws to note, the Indian camisole has retained its freshness and luster. Beautiful condition.
