Rectangular sundial in wood and mounted paper, painted with ink and watercolor, opening with a hinge by a hook, the cover presenting on the outside a series of names of European cities with their latitude, on the inside a sundial with Arabic numerals, the lower part presenting the compass with a wind rose motif under glass, the Arabic and Roman numerals France, popular work from the beginning of the 19th century, following a model by Charles Bloud (1653-1699) 2 x 4.5 x 7.5 cm
