This type of pearl was made by cutting a natural emerald prism into several sections which were then drilled.
This ring model is inspired by the rings of the late Hellenistic period of the 2nd-1st centuries BC.
The pearl is supported by a gadrooned rosette on both sides as well as a fine spiral gold wire.
