Made of wood and mineral dyes, this hanging hook features an ancestral head in the center, evoking the guardian spirit Waken. Thus, men sought favor before a war operation by hanging offerings. This type of hook was not hung but placed in the men's house. This high-quality votive object is presented on a stand specially made to highlight it. Good condition, normal wear.
