Jean-baptiste Conio (early 20th Century) Olive Tree Field Near Carro

A broad and modern touch, the true colors of the Provençal countryside and pretty reserves of a material that vibrates and plays with the wood of the support for this charming and luminous oil on panel by the Marseille painter Jean-Baptiste Conio.
The work in very good condition is offered in a pretty carved frame from the 1930s, black and gold which measures 39 cm by 46 cm and 33 cm by 41 cm for the panel alone.
It represents a field of olive trees near the Côte Bleue.
The work, titled "Landscape" and located "Environs de Carro" on the back on an old label is signed lower left.
