pair of neoclassical mirrors with frames made of larch wood, finely carved and
gilded. The frames feature intricate decorations at the top, with a pediment
characterized by volutes and floral scrolls. The mirrors, in good condition,
are adorned in the center by two engraved figures – a man and a woman –
representative of classical themes, complete with garments, ornaments, and
symbols representing the allegory of the seasons. These mirrors, of undeniable
taste and refinement, can bring class and elegance to any environment. Made by
a Neapolitan workshop during the neoclassical period, between the late 18th and
early 19th century.
