Italy, mid-20th century, lovely pair of ornamental horses in lacquered wood. Each sculpture features two horses at each end, mixing black and gold colors. Their style is reminiscent of the heads of Venetian cavai, ornaments halfway down the gondola at the armrests. Good condition. Some wear to the lacquer and some missing parts without affecting the aesthetics. Dimensions: Length 55 x Width 17 x Height 30 (cm).
