Charming sculpture of a walking elephant, trunk raised in a sign of happiness, in bronze with a golden patina resting on a green veined marble base. Beautiful quality of casting, finely detailed, notably in the wrinkles of the skin and the contrasting white tusks. Careful decorative work, in the Art Deco or orientalist spirit, circa 1950–1970.
