Important neoclassical console in wrought iron from the Art Deco period around 1940 signed P.ROZE (ironworker active during the first part of the 20th century, known in particular for the creation of wrought iron Art Deco chandelier mounts for the Muller frères glassworks in Lunéville) Structure of an eventful and curved shape in thick hammered iron, supported by double-evolution arched legs joined by a half-moon spacer decorated with a stylized bouquet plume, the belt is animated by a fleur-de-lis motif in the taste of the 18th century surrounded by volutes with stylized acanthus foliage, top in white Carrara marble. Good general condition, dimensions: 1 m 40 long X 92 cm high X 42 cm deep.
