Ciro Denza, Series of four coastal views and landscapes, oil on panel, late 19th - early 20th century
This rare series consisting of four oil on panel paintings by Ciro Denza (Castellammare di Stabia, 1844 - Naples, 1915), a painter known for his evocative seascapes and landscapes of the Gulf of Naples and its surroundings.
The works, all enclosed in gilded frames, have the following common elements:
Technique and medium: oil on panel, with handwritten numbering visible on the back;
Signature: two of the works are signed in the lower right corner;
Provenance: all are from the same private collection;
