"Large 12-light Hot Air Balloon Chandelier "
Large hot air balloon chandelier in gilt bronze and glass pendants with 12 lights from beginning of the 20th century. It is composed of 6 light arms on the periphery and 7 bulbs inside the curtain of pendants. It is crowned with a dome of pendants circle of gilt bronze star. 3 ram heads surmounted by an acanthus leaf decorate this star circle and overhang twisted uprights which connect the large openwork crown of interlacing to which are fixed the 6 light arms of which 3 brackets alternate with 3 fluted torches held by a gilt bronze drape typical of the decorative vocabulary of the Louis XVI style. A pine cone completes the bottom of this beautiful light fixture. Electrification previously redone and in working order.
