Spectacular and rare pair of carved wooden sculptures depicting squires holding a bronze torch and resting on a wooden base imitating porphyry.This pair is of extraordinary quality; finely carved in solid wood. 19th century period; an Italian (Venetian) work circa 1870 - 1880.
