Sublime Liège grandfather clock from the Louis XV period , finely molded and carved in oak.
A work from the city of Liège (Belgium) around 1770 , the dial in pewter and brass signed Jacques Wampé à Liège.
Liège furniture is well known for its level of quality and finesse!
The grandfather clock is in its original condition; to be restored (mainly the mechanism which needs to be revised by a watchmaker).
The mechanism is of a typical construction for Liège clockmaking.
