"Floating Sundial - Germany"
A so-called “floating” sundial also forming a pocket compass, round in shape, made of wood, the metal gnomon constituting the directional needle, the interior in colored lithographed paper, the four cardinal points in German, “North, Ost, South, West”, the hours in Roman numerals. Germany, circa 1800-1820 4 x 5.5 cm
