A Japanese ivory manju netsuke finely carved in relief, depicting a dragon coiled upon itself.
The himotoshi, circular in shape, is represented as a sacred jewel (tama) held at the center by the dragon’s tail, with one opening slightly larger than the other.
The surface is smooth and silky to the touch, with a warm, even, and lustrous patina, featuring subtle tonal variations that reflect the natural aging of the material.
