"Pair Of Dresden Porcelain Candlesticks, Karl Richard Klemm, C.1895, Green Ground & Gilding"
An elegant small pair of hand-painted porcelain candlesticks attributed to Karl Richard Klemm, Dresden, circa 1895. Each piece bears the underglaze blue crowned "RK Dresden" marks, registered in 1888 and associated with Klemm’s renowned studio. Decorated with finely detailed floral sprays, gilt scrolls, and a distinctive deep green "fishnet" ground with lattice borders, these candlesticks reflect the refined decorative vocabulary of late 19th-century Dresden porcelain. The form and proportions follow classical models popular in Neoclassical revival design. These are not merely decorative but also historically collectible — part of the high-end Dresden porcelain tradition that found favor among collectors of Rococo revival pieces in both Europe and America.
