A female painter in Berck, born in Hénin-Liétard (Pas-de-Calais). A student of Marius Chambon who founded the Société Berckoise d'Encouragement aux Arts in 1933, she painted, like her teacher, the landscapes of Pas de Calais, including this street in Montreuil sur Mer where they both set up their easels. An artist to rediscover, of whom we have a batch of paintings and drawings. Unsigned oil on cardboard. Provenance: artist's family. Damage to the lower left corner.
