Legras Sd Vase With Art Nouveau Nasturtium Vitrified Decoration

From the rare series with vitrified decoration, miniature Legras vase decorated with a nasturtium flower and its acid-etched leaves on an amber background lined with beige. On the decoration was applied a layer of colored glass annealed to give this vitrified and opalescent appearance then the decoration was taken up with the wheel. Signature "Legras SD" in cameo. Art Nouveau period around 1900 - 1910. The series is listed in the book, which I recommend, entitled "François - Théodore LEGRAS verrerie artistiqueet populaire française" by Marie-Françoise and Jean-François Michel, Dominique and Jean Vitrat.
