Maritime Folk Art: Lighthouse Keeper's Lamp, Handmade, Circa 1900
Beautiful decorative object, good size, 37 cm x 22 cm, circa 1900, all handmade from sheet of brass, several tool-stamped floors, openwork galleries from braided wire, small grilled bottom openings, 8 small windows have their colored glass, (except 1).
Glass of the lighthouse is old. It is a lamp, according to the original electrical assembly, a night light on bottom must have lit the ground floor and its round windows, a stronger lamp the top of Lighthouse and its 5 colored windows.
