Art Deco Murano Glass and Brass Chandelier with Eight Lights, 1940s
This elegant Venetian chandelier has a rectangular brass frame with retro yet modern lines. The spiral-shaped Venetian glass curved arms are typical of the Ercole Barovier style, making this a unique piece of art. This clear glass chandelier has eight arms ending in lampholders shaped like flared corollas facing upwards. The entire structure is decorated with brass elements.
The extraordinary elegance and versatility of this Italian chandelier is enhanced by the alternation of transparent volumes of blown glass and bright, luminous brass, a dialogue between different materials created by traditional Venetian workmanship and contemporary lines.
It comes from a private Milanese collection and requires eight E27 bulbs. It has been cleaned, polished, and rewired to European standards and is fully functional and ready to use. The glasses are in good condition and are free of chips or cracks. Minor replacements. This antique chandelier will be disassembled, and the glass pieces will be individually wrapped for easy transport.
