This sculpture is signed "Senyu" (?) - Superb cast iron work, and dark red patina. This sculpture illustrates the close relationship in the 20th century between Japanese and French art. The theme is ancestrally linked to the decoration of the houses of the aristocracy, but here the treatment evokes the animal art of the early 20th century French. Some gray deposits between the claws. No shocks. Minor wear. weight 8.370 kg
