Coat of arms painted in watercolor on vellum, with gold highlights, 17th century
Decorated with flags, armed arms, crown, helmet.
In a very neat frame by René Wiener (1855 - 1939), famous framer, bookbinder, publisher and collector of the Nancy School.
The frame bears on the back his Ex-Libris as well as a note in ink: "René Wiener deltinno 1888"
Another note in ink indicates "Données après le siège de Vienne par les turcs 15 septembre 1683", which could help in the attribution of these coats of arms, an Ottoman crescent appearing on the shield.
Very good condition.
