Very important deep dish with a central decoration of a phoenix and peonies. The border is richly decorated with six floral cartouches on a background of checkered patterns. China, Swatow Kilns

Numerous cracks, common on ceramics from these kilns, some deeper than others, and some having caused roughness in the paste. Four chips on the edge, some more significant than others.
