Pretty miniature collector's book (6 x 10 cm), decorated with engraved profiles overlooking the succinct biography of the kings of France, from Henry IV to Louis XVI "now reigning", ladies of the Court and Dauphins.
Beautiful engraved frontispiece opposite the flyleaf.

Leather binding marked with gilt fillets. Slightly bumped corners.
Boards very slightly rubbed.
A very old stain (probably ink) faintly visible on the last board (on the back of the book). Solid headcaps, well-sewn notebooks. Interior in pink and gold domino paper, very pretty.

Completely collated: 143 pages.
Fresh interior, sound paper; all edges gilt.

The work is easy to handle, easy to read. Beautiful little collector's volume.

Minor defects: slight rubbing of the interior domino paper, slight margin foxing (sunshine of the margins) not affecting the text, due to time.
