Painted wooden altarpiece, leaves decorated with bouquets of colorful flowers opening onto an oratory niche with a sculpture of the Virgin of the Assumption of Conceicao, standing on a crescent moon, wearing a flowered habit, from the Hispanic colonies of South America or Salvador de Bahia, from the 18th century. This altarpiece is in good general condition, beautiful quality. The eyes of the Virgin are made of glass. Please note: the hands of the Virgin are missing (which should have been joined), some accidents and lack of polychromy on the statuette, cracks and wear on the altarpiece, wear of time, look carefully at the photos.
