"Sevres Vases Clermont Model, 20th Century Art Nouveau"
The SEVRES factory in the spotlight with these 3 elegant and unusual vases: 3 models called "CLERMONT" in glazed white porcelain, 2 sizes, 1 large and 2 medium. The Clermont model vase is a classic form of the Manufacture de Sèvres Art Nouveau model produced at the beginning of the 20th century. The shape is slender, curved, flared neck, narrow circular base - very characteristic of the "Clermont" model, its glossy white porcelain is a typical Sèvres finish. What makes them special pieces is that the SEVRES signature under the 3 vases is crossed out, which attests that these vases did indeed come from the Sèvres workshops; in reality these are pieces that came out of the official circuits, it is an internal donation. The stamp has a double lyre topped with an oak leaf or palmette, typical of Sèvres post-1950, but scratched. The number "12" likely corresponds to a workshop or batch numbering. Collectors will appreciate the understated beauty and distinctiveness of these beautiful vases.
