Elegant console table between two Louis XVI with projections, in carved and waxed oak, 18th century. It is topped with a royal red marble with cavetto molding and central projection on the front as well as on the corners and back of the sides. This wall console has crosspieces with the same projections and receiving an openwork carved decoration of interlacing punctuated with medallions and laurel garlands. It rests on two tapered front legs with rudentée fluting joined by a spacer receiving in its middle a large covered vase. The variety and richness of the carved decoration, the rhythm of the projections make this console a very decorative piece of furniture as much in a classic interior as more contemporary.
