Pantometer or rotating square, for surveyors and/or surveyors. Late 19th early 20th century. Made of burnished brass and bronze, mounted on a wooden tripod (oak), articulated with counterweight. Sighting system with slots in the upper and lower cylinder. Thumbwheel button allowing rotation of the upper cylinder. Graduated scale in silver-plated brass. Model completed with a compass housed in the upper part of the cylinder. Wooden box. Traces of oxidation. Original patina and varnish. Very good condition.
