Large Silver-Plated Hot Water Buffet Dish for Roasts with Dome Cover
This silver-plated hot water dish is distinguished by a decorative frieze of fluting and diagonal channels, elegantly echoed on the handles and the dome cover. The dome features broad pinched ribs alternating with smaller ribs, while the cast metal handle is adorned with a delicate leafy motif. The dish is marked with the initials C-F-S within a band.
The dish bears the mark Daniel & Arter No. 215, and the dome is stamped M8 and m P168.
