Désirée Hellé's works were revealed and exhibited in 1952 by the famous Parisian collector Romi (Robert Miquel 1905-1995). Subsequently popularized by Violette Leduc (French novelist 1907-1972) in "Les Temps Modernes", Désirée Hellé was a self-taught artist paralyzed in the hands since the age of 12. Dimensions 15x10cm
