Precious little mother-of-pearl medallion depicting a child leaning on the edge of a body of water. He seems to be completely absorbed in his thoughts. Openwork around the edge with two pearl friezes. Beautiful romantic scene, late 19th century. Very good overall condition, one chip is to be noted (see photo). Thickness 3mm.
