Pewter shouldered pitcher, quarter-round foot and cup, lid with central molding and acorn thumb.
PA countermark of the mold owner (perhaps Pierre ARNOLET, master in LIBOURNE).
Hallmark of Pierre CAMBARON, received master around 1700 : C / PC / crossed keys / tiara. (the first C means Common pewter)
Control hallmark: crowned C / B / two lilies.
Height: 19.5 cm.
BORDEAUX, Early 18th century

In perfect condition and well hallmarked Paradoxically, wine measures from this important wine-growing region are very rare. Bibliography:  "Pewters and master pewter potters - Bordeaux, 1600-1900" by Ph. Boucaud
