Quilted bed base in Nantes canvas showing a gun leader, Petitpierre frères & compagnie in Nantes Bon teint. This canvas is called La Motte-Picquet saves a convoy. It tells the story of La Motte Picquet who comes to the aid of a French convoy pursued by 16 ships of the English fleet of Admiral Parker. The cotton canvas comes from India by the presence of red woven stripes. Good condition.
