Nielloed Silver Box
Oblong box 19th century nielloed silver.
The lid decorated with intertwined statty garlands is centered by an oval cartouche featu the initials GS on a dotted background.
The reverse side has an identical decoration.
The gilt interior bears the inscription: Georges Slogett and M. I. MARE MINA and the hallmark M et S.
There is another hallmark above this one which is difficult to decipher.
It opens with a push button.
