"Bronze Inkwell "cocotte""
A 19th-century bronze inkwell depicting a woman's bust, the lower part shaped like a cocotte. At the rear is an inkwell with its original ink cup. The woman, with a joyful face and bare breasts, wears a large bow tie; her long, curly hair is partially covered by a narrow hat with a beaded trim. The sculpture is beautifully modeled and features fine chasing. This interesting, unusually shaped inkwell rests on a round, black base. Height: 15.7 cm; Total length: 11.4 cm; Total width: 6.7 cm; Base diameter: 10.5 cm. Very good condition.
