Born on November 23, 1949 in Tours (Indre-et-Loire). François Belliard attended the Rouen School of Fine Arts, choosing the "Engraving" option. Settled with his wife, Agnès His, in the Loire Valley, he practiced the art of raku there with a fantasy that combines with great rigor. For the past ten years, he has devoted himself to the art of furniture and occasionally to ceramics. Some of his works are preserved at the National Museum of Ceramics in Sèvres.
