Fat/lean sauceboat, Saulieu model, is a creation by Lino Sabattini for Christofle in 1964. Lino Sabattini is an Italian goldsmith and designer. In 1956, these creations were exhibited in Paris and attracted international opinion. He then became Christophe's design director for seven years. This sauceboat is intended to separate the fattier part of the sauce, and therefore the denser, from the lean part. The handle is made of rosewood.
