19th Century Walnut Mirror Richly Carved With Masonic Attributes
Its very lively sculptures of olive and oak foliage surround numerous symbols such as the pelican and its young, the beehive, the sun, the moon, the ropes, the mallet, the trowel, the set square and the compass. The walnut has some small scattered pitting; the mercury mirror is quite marked by the traces of time but fulfills its function well.
