Large and fine tapestry panel from the royal factory of Beauvais. The lighthouse of Alexandria in wool and silk. We can see fortifications around the lighthouse, below a scene of cowherds near a musician. Surrounded by lush vegetation and several birds. Border of garland of flowers and polychrome foliage in red, blue, green and ochre. Restoration and old re-upholstery. Period late 17th century.
