Brass incense boat, 17th Century

Resting on a stepped pedestal, this vessel is oval in shape. The lid, with its symmetrical opening, is slightly curved. It is adorned with a repoussé decoration of two large fleurs-de-lis, four smaller ones inscribed within a square, and small flowers. A gadrooned frieze adorns the perimeter.

Good condition. Remains of silver plating on the interior.
