Léon LEGAT (12/08/1829 in Paris-?) specialized in genre scenes and landscapes. Painter of the French school who often took up scenes of life from the Ile de France region and Versailles. Student of Louis MARTINET, he participated in the Paris Salon in 1848, then regularly from 1861 to 1891 and in the Salon des artistes français in 1879. Framed under glass in a wooden frame gilded with gold leaf, from the 19th century. Drawing dimensions: 86 x 62 cm
