19th century school "Before the storm" Oil on canvas signed "Vallès" and dated 1893 lower right. Bears a name "H. Lebas" lower left. Small losses to the canvas. Wooden frame and gilded stucco. Dim.46 X29 cm without frame / 61.5 X 44.5 cm with frame. The marine is a genre of figurative art, which depicts or draws its main source of inspiration from the sea.
